Commentary on MC’s less than insightful drivel on Glenn Beck.

On the 13th of October, Michael Crook posted a commentary on Talk News Radio and Television personality Glenn Beck.  With kudos to our wonderful constitution, that allows us the freedom of speech, I will tell you why MC is NOT qualified in any way to comment on Glenn Beck, calling him a “fellow Mormon”, and a “cad.” We will lay these out in an organized manner so that even Michael Crook can keep up.

1. Say what you will about Mr. Beck, you can not doubt he is successful. With a syndicated radio show, and a television program that airs several times a day, It is safe to say that he does well for himself.

Lets compare this to the success of Michael Crook. More than one marriage dissolved, no children in his custody, no long term jobs to speak of, and he has a constant need to pretend he is something he is not.

2. This “fellow Mormon” of Michael’s admittedly was an alcoholic and has changed his life. He speaks often of his faith and experiences, and in my opinion, is a pretty good example of what a run of the mill Mormon is like. (I know several.)

Lets compare to Mike.  In 2004 he claimed that he had left the church, asked to be removed from the records of the church. All the while trolling sites where Mormons were having discussions under the moniker of “silentmike.” He even went so far as to attempt an anti-Mormon website.  That went over about as well as a lead balloon.  In the midst of all his blathering, there were alleged attempts to get some welfare type help from his local congregation.  When confronted with those facts, his reply? ” Such matters can be reversed.” Something makes me doubt that the process ever happened. You would expect a change of heart if you were to head on back into the “fold.”  Has there been any change? well, i have been observing this guy for years now, and I can only conclude for myself, that IF (I say IF because I believe the guy as far as I can throw him) he has headed back to the church, it may have something to do with their welfare.

I guess the casual reader may think Crook to be obnoxious, but feel free to jump on Youtube, it might give a little more perspective….
